MARY ULLMANN JAPHET

I’m Mary, founder of Japhet Media and a lifelong communicator. I’ve built my career around helping people and organizations tell their stories with purpose, but also with a clear eye on results. Whether it’s shaping strategy, navigating a crisis, or preparing for a big moment in the spotlight, I work alongside my clients to meet their goals and communicate with clarity and confidence. My background in journalism and nonprofit leadership has taught me the value of preparation, trust, and knowing your audience.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me on a walk with my dog, cycling along our San Antonio trails, catching a track meet (of all the sports I love, there’s nothing more exciting than a great race!), or planning my next travel adventure. I believe in community, curiosity, and showing up for people, in work and in life.

Beyond her client work, Mary is an active board member across the region, currently chairing the board of San Antonio Sports and serving on the boards of Great Springs Project, Geekdom and the Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas.
